The Hardscape Team Member role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, building lasting outdoor spaces, and being part of a supportive, skilled team. Team members contribute to the creation of patios, retaining walls, and custom outdoor living features, working alongside experienced professionals and using industry-standard equipment. Responsibilities Install paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces according to project specifications. Assist with site preparation, including excavation, grading, and base installation. Operate landscape and construction equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, plate compactors, cut-off saws, and other power tools. Maintain clean and organized job sites, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout each project. Load, secure, transport, and maintain trucks, trailers, and equipment as needed. Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance. Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment appropriately. Collaborate with the Team Leader and other crew members to complete projects on time and to company standards. Support landscape installation and maintenance tasks as required. Assist with snow and ice management during winter months. Qualifications Previous experience in hardscape, landscape, construction, or outdoor labor is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Professional communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurance requirements. Ability to pass a background and drug screening. Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 70 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Experience operating skid steers, mini excavators, or similar equipment is a plus. Experience installing pavers, retaining walls, or outdoor living spaces is preferred. CDL or willingness to obtain a CDL is a plus. Industry certifications or willingness to pursue training are advantageous.
