Mowing Crew Leader Davison's 4 Seasons Landscaping Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to join our mowing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for mowing and property care. As Crew Leaders, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that accounts are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will play a crucial role in supervising crew members, maintaining quality control, and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of mowing crew workers in various tasks including cutting grass, weed eating , edging walks and beds, and blowing off hard surfaces . Plan and coordinate daily work schedules to ensure timely completion of mowing accounts. Train crew members on proper techniques for mowing, edging of flower beds, edging of sidewalks, weed eating, and maintaining equipment. Monitor the quality of work performed by crew members to ensure adherence to company standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their mowing and lawn care needs and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any necessary repairs or replacements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote safe work practices among team members. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial mowing or related field is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of grass / lawn types, basic small engine repair, lawn care techniques, and general mowing practices. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
