This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your skills in tree care, landscaping, and equipment operation. You will support arborists and landscape professionals by performing essential ground-based tasks and assisting with tree trimming, pruning, and plant care. Your efforts will contribute to the safety, aesthetics, and sustainability of our community environments. Duties Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and removal using hand tools and power equipment such as chainsaws and pole saws Operate bucket trucks safely to access elevated tree branches or landscape features for pruning or maintenance Support arborists with rigging, climbing, and dismantling trees while ensuring safety protocols are followed Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, mulching, and general site cleanup Perform plant pruning care to promote healthy growth and enhance visual appeal Maintain equipment such as chainsaws, bucket trucks, and rigging gear through proper inspection and routine upkeep Experience Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture is highly desirable Familiarity with tree trimming techniques, plant pruning care, and dendrology (the study of trees) is a plus Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial lift equipment preferred Knowledge of rigging procedures for safe tree dismantling or removal processes Growing experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance enhances your ability to contribute effectively Basic understanding of GIS technology can be beneficial for site mapping or planning tasks Strong commitment to safety standards related to chainsaw use, bucket operation, and outdoor work environments Join us to help shape vibrant landscapes while advancing your skills in a lively, supportive environment!
