Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Groundsperson to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty, health, and safety of outdoor spaces through a variety of groundskeeping tasks. Your energetic approach will ensure that parks, sports fields, corporate campuses, or residential communities remain pristine and inviting. Responsibilities Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers to perform lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks Use bucket trucks and other elevated equipment for tree care, trimming, and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and growing new trees, shrubs, and plants to enhance landscape aesthetics Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify hazards or areas needing attention; perform repairs or coordinate with specialists as needed Apply knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for mapping and planning landscape projects Perform rigging tasks safely when lifting or moving heavy objects or equipment in tree care or landscape projects Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris, leaves, and waste materials to ensure safety and visual appeal Support lawn care activities including aeration, fertilization, weed control, and irrigation system checks Follow safety protocols diligently while operating bucket trucks or other machinery; ensure all equipment is properly maintained and used correctly Experience Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with tree trimming techniques and tree care practices is advantageous Hands-on experience with bucket operation and bucket truck use is a plus Knowledge of GIS applications related to landscape planning or management is desirable Growing experience with plants and understanding of horticultural principles will support success in this role Ability to operate rigging equipment safely when working at heights or handling large materials Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are essential Join our team to help create beautiful outdoor spaces that inspire community pride!
