This energetic position involves performing a wide range of landscape and lawn care tasks to ensure properties look pristine and inviting. You will work with various tools, equipment, and techniques to deliver high-quality landscape services that enhance the natural beauty of our clients' environments. Whether you're trimming trees, mowing lawns, or installing hardscape features, your efforts will directly contribute to transforming outdoor areas into vibrant, well-kept landscapes. Responsibilities Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf. Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, trimming trees, shrubs, and flowers to promote growth and aesthetics. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, trimming, and installing landscape features. Maintain hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other constructed features. Manage irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules. Assist with snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe. Support construction projects involving excavation with equipment like excavators or other machinery as needed. Apply horticultural knowledge to care for plants, trees, and lawns effectively while adhering to best practices in landscaping. Conduct routine maintenance on equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools. Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive landscape solutions that meet client expectations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools for efficient operation and troubleshooting. Proven experience in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, and horticulture practices. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes for detailed work. Familiarity with operating excavators or similar machinery for larger construction or excavation tasks. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair techniques. Ability to perform tree care including trimming, pruning, and health assessments. Experience with snow plowing equipment and winter landscape maintenance is a plus. Understanding of hardscape installation including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other constructed features. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to safety standards on-site. Basic understanding of construction principles related to landscape projects is advantageous.
