Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Technician and bring outdoor spaces to life with your hands-on expertise! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes through skilled landscaping, lawn care, and horticultural practices. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as digging, planting, and installing landscape features Maintain lawns through fertilization, aeration, overseeding, and weed control to promote lush growth Execute hardscape projects such as installing pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other construction elements with precision Provide tree care services including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or excavators when necessary Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes Support snow plowing and de-icing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible Requirements Mechanical knowledge paired with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators or skid steers Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening; familiarity with horticulture principles is a plus Ability to operate construction machinery safely and effectively for hardscape or excavation projects Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques Strong understanding of irrigation systems and their maintenance requirements Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; capable of lifting heavy materials when needed Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards Join us in transforming outdoor environments into stunning landscapes!
