All debris, fallen limbs, other next to or on roadways, driveways, or property improvements/structures to be removed and addressed as soon as possible. All debris, fallen limbs, other in fields or areas visible from barns, roads, or structures to be removed and addressed as secondary priority. All debris or fallen limbs in forested or areas not visible to be removed and addressed as time allows. Keep ranch fleet vehicles clean and orderly, including trucks, tractors, gators, mowers and others after use. If damage or repair needed on a vehicle or other equipment, notify owners. Feed and water animals daily. Clean barn spaces. Clean fields daily, including: removal of llama waste, remove fallen branches/leaves/cones, gather rocks that could be a hazard. Rocks should be moved to one of the existing dry creek beds. Water garden and plants as needed. Weed yard, flower beds, and garden as needed (goal is no visible weeds). Keep lawn cut as needed, and identify issues with irrigation system. Address basic irrigation issues as appropriate, request assistance from Maintenance Manager if larger issue. Check residence patio and dog run daily, address cleaning as needed. Ensure all fences are in working order. Assist owners, Llama Manager, and Maintenance Manager as needed. Remove debris, fallen trees or limbs from fences, driveways, and property. Keep bug traps working. Other duties as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years' proven experience in a similar role. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to handle a range of agricultural/landscape machinery and powered hand tools. In-depth knowledge of plants and gardening techniques. Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation. As part of the hiring process, a drug screen and background check is required. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
