Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various aspects of landscape maintenance, including lawn care, gardening, and hardscape installation. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintaining outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and well-kept throughout the seasons. Duties Perform regular lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging to maintain a neat appearance. Execute landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, and tree care. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects. Utilize heavy equipment such as excavators for larger landscaping and construction tasks. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility of outdoor areas. Assist with hardscape projects including patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment used in landscaping activities. Monitor plant health and perform necessary horticultural practices to promote growth. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools. Proficient in lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices. Experience with gardening and horticulture principles. Familiarity with snow plowing operations during winter months. Ability to operate excavators and other heavy machinery safely. Knowledge of tree trimming techniques for maintaining healthy trees. Skilled in using both hand tools and power tools effectively. Understanding of irrigation systems for efficient water management. Capability to perform maintenance tasks related to groundskeeping duties.
