Job Description
Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift | Full-TimePosition Overview We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our 3rd shift team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility and surrounding grounds. The ideal candidate will have general maintenance experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while supporting a safe and productive manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility Replace HVAC, machine, and ventilation filters as required Assist with cleaning and maintaining coolant tanks and production equipment Perform routine inspections of building systems and report maintenance concerns Maintain facility grounds, including trash removal, snow removal, and basic landscaping duties as needed Clean and maintain production, warehouse, office, and common areas Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as assigned Assist with equipment moves, installations, and facility projects Operate floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and other maintenance equipment Ensure compliance with safety procedures and facility regulations Maintain maintenance logs and complete assigned work orders Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous maintenance, janitorial, facilities, or general labor experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Submission to a criminal background check Preferred Skills Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Experience operating maintenance equipment and power tools Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments Preventive maintenance experience Forklift certification is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift Frequently lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures Comfortable working around machinery and industrial equipment Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience 3rd Shift Schedule Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays 401(k) Program Stable employment with advancement opportunities Friendly team-oriented work environment Join Our Team!
