Detail Landscaping Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Detail/Weeding Team Leader to join our landscaping team. This role is essential in maintaining the appearance and health of landscapes by ensuring that all weeds, debris, and unwanted growth are properly removed. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for keeping outdoor spaces pristine and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Weeding & Plant Bed Maintenance:

Manually remove weeds from garden beds, mulch areas, sidewalks, and other landscaped spaces.

Detail Work:

Ensure all areas are clean, well-groomed, and free of debris by trimming, deadheading flowers, and maintaining crisp edges.

Mulch & Soil Care:

Assist in spreading mulch, compost, and soil amendments to enhance plant health and prevent weed growth.

Plant Health Monitoring:

Identify and report signs of plant disease, pest infestations, or poor soil conditions to supervisors.

Hand Tools & Equipment Use:

Utilize hand tools such as weeders, trowels, pruners, and rakes to maintain high-quality landscaping.

Cleanup & Waste Disposal:

Remove and properly dispose of weeds, leaves, and other organic debris.

Assist Landscaping Crew:

Support other landscaping tasks, such as planting, watering, and light pruning, as needed.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
