Frontiers International Travel is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Household & Property Assistan t to help care for the private residences of the company's owners. This unique position combines horticulture, household support, and general property care into one full-time, year-round role. A significant portion of this position centers around maintaining beautiful gardens, flower beds, landscaped areas, and outdoor living spaces. We're looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, appreciates horticulture, and takes pride in creating and maintaining attractive, well-cared-for properties. While the primary focus of this role is supporting the owners' residences, occasional similar assistance may also be needed at the company's business property. As such, this is a full-time position with Frontiers International Travel, offering paid time off, health benefits, retirement plan participation, and other company benefits. Many positions involving household assistance, gardening, or property care are seasonal, part-time, or contract work. This position offers the stability and long-term benefits of full-time employment. No two days are exactly alike. While many responsibilities follow the seasons or a regular routine, we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and is comfortable shifting between indoor and outdoor projects as needs change. Outdoor Property Care The heart of this position is caring for the owners' outdoor spaces. Responsibilities include maintaining flower beds, gardens, shrubs, landscaped areas, and greenhouse plants throughout the year. This includes planting, weeding, pruning, mulching, watering, fertilizing, seasonal cleanup, and learning the specific care different plants require throughout the changing seasons. We're looking for someone who either has, or is excited to develop, a strong understanding of horticulture and takes genuine pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Household Support In addition to outdoor work, this position helps keep the homes running smoothly. Projects may include preparing homes for family or guests, light housekeeping, organizing household supplies, pressure washing patios and decks, winterizing outdoor furniture and equipment, assisting with food preparation for gatherings, and completing a variety of seasonal household projects. Initiative & Ownership This is not a position where every task is assigned each morning. We're looking for someone who can walk a property, recognize what needs attention, prioritize the work, and take ownership of completing it. If a flower bed needs weeding, the weeds get pulled. If patio furniture needs to be pressure washed, it's cleaned. If a light bulb burns out, it's replaced. We value someone who enjoys solving everyday problems themselves and takes satisfaction in leaving each property looking better than they found it. Household Assistance Like any home, there are always occasional one-off projects and errands that arise. This may include picking up supplies, transporting items between properties, taking a family pet to an appointment, preparing for visitors, helping organize seasonal decorations, or assisting with other miscellaneous projects. While these responsibilities vary throughout the year, they are simply part of helping the households operate smoothly. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, trustworthy, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently. They enjoy both indoor and outdoor work, appreciate physical activity, and take pride in noticing details that others might overlook. Because this position works closely with the owners and has access to their homes and personal property, professionalism, discretion, integrity, and the ability to earn trust are essential. Previous experience with horticulture, gardening, landscaping, greenhouse work, household assistance, housekeeping, facilities maintenance, or similar hands-on work is preferred, but not required.
