Job Description
Job Summary Join our team at the Greencastle Golf Club and be part of maintaining the beauty and playability of our course! As a Grounds Crew Member, you will contribute to the upkeep of the golf course landscape, ensuring a top-notch experience for our guests. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in well-maintained grounds. Seasonal job through October 31st. Responsibilities Mow, trim, and maintain fairways, greens, tees, and rough areas using specialized golf course equipment. Perform landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, and watering flowers, trees, and shrubs. Assist with bunker maintenance, including raking and edging. Operate and maintain hand tools, mowers, and other machinery safely. Assist with irrigation system maintenance and repair if needed. Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with course standards. Perform general grounds keeping duties, including trash removal and debris cleanup. Skills Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or golf course maintenance preferred, but not required. Ability to operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment. Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable transportation to and from the golf course.
