Job Description
Join a Team That Values Skill, Safety & Quality Ninja Lawn & Landscape is looking for an experienced Tree Climber to join our growing team serving Central Pennsylvania. If you're a skilled climber who takes pride in working safely, efficiently, and professionally, we'd love to meet you. Unlike many tree companies, we also offer additional landscaping and outdoor work throughout the season. If you have experience in landscaping, hardscaping, property maintenance, or other outdoor services, you'll have the opportunity to continue working with our team even when there aren't scheduled tree removals. Compensation $30-$40 per hour while actively climbing , based on experience and skill level. $25 per hour while performing landscaping, property maintenance, or other non-climbing work. Opportunities for additional hours based on workload and versatility. What You'll Do Safely climb trees using approved climbing techniques and equipment. Perform tree removals, pruning, trimming, and storm damage cleanup. Work alongside the ground crew to complete projects safely and efficiently. Follow ANSI safety standards and company safety procedures. Operate ropes, rigging equipment, chainsaws, and other tree service equipment. Assist with landscaping, property maintenance, or other outdoor services when tree work is not scheduled (if qualified). QualificationsRequired Minimum 2 years of professional tree climbing experience. Must provide at least three professional references. Must own your personal climbing harness (additional climbing equipment is a plus). Strong knowledge of proper climbing, rigging, and safety practices. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Preferred But Not Required CDL ISA Certified Arborist (not required) Experience operating bucket trucks, mini skids, or stump grinders Landscaping experience Hardscaping experience Lawn care or property maintenance experience Equipment operation experience What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in quality workmanship.
