Responsibilities Supervise, motivate, and actively work alongside a merchandising and garden center team to support sales goals and deliver excellent customer experiences. Oversee daily operations across multiple locations, including merchandising execution, inventory management, and staffing. Coordinate and execute plant merchandising at multiple Home Depot locations. Build, set up, maintain, and take down plant and seasonal displays across assigned locations. Ensure the health, quality, organization, and visual appeal of plants and displays. Train and mentor team members to succeed in their roles. Monitor and report on sales, inventory levels, and overall operational performance to upper management. Load, unload, move, and arrange plant material, including heavier items such as trees and shrubs. Travel between assigned locations as needed. Requirements Experience in a leadership role within retail, garden centers, merchandising, or a related field. Proven ability to lead and work as part of a team. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform continuous physical activity throughout the workday. Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation is required. Comfortable using a smartphone app to record daily tasks. Flexibility to manage and travel between multiple store locations. Availability to work a Saturday shift during peak seasons and around major holidays. Gardening or plant care experience is a plus, but not required.
