Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance tasks to ensure landscapes are healthy, attractive, and safe. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, utilizing your skills with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to keep outdoor areas pristine and inviting Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently Support planting, transplanting, watering, fertilizing, and plant identification to promote healthy growth of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary adjustments or repairs Perform groundskeeping duties such as leaf removal, debris cleanup, weed control, and pest management following safety protocols Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues related to plant health or equipment performance and report or address them promptly Follow safety procedures diligently while handling pesticides, operating machinery, or working at heights during tree trimming or other tasks Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or gardening preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor environments is essential Mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation is highly desirable Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, irrigation systems, and pesticide management is a plus Ability to safely operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners as well as power tools like trimmers and blowers Strong attention to safety protocol adherence while working with equipment or chemicals Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, bending, standing for extended periods and working in various weather conditions Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing and edging; experience with tree trimming is advantageous Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
