Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing beautiful outdoor spaces through hands-on landscaping and groundskeeping activities. Your work will directly contribute to the aesthetic appeal and health of various landscapes, ensuring they remain vibrant, safe, and inviting. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hand tools safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and pest management. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote growth and safety while adhering to safety protocols. Apply pesticides and other horticultural treatments responsibly following all safety guidelines and regulations. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris, weeds, and waste materials regularly. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools for troubleshooting and maintenance. Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or groundskeeping roles with outdoor work exposure. Skilled in the operation of grounds maintenance machinery including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems. Ability to identify plants accurately and understand horticultural principles for proper care. Knowledge of pesticide management practices aligned with safety standards. Familiarity with landscaping techniques such as planting, mulching, edging, and ground cover installation.
