Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscaper/Labourer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, applying your skills in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and equipment operation. You will be involved in a variety of tasks that keep landscapes healthy, vibrant, and well-maintained, contributing directly to the aesthetic and safety of our clients' properties. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to ensure pristine outdoor spaces. Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and plant identification to promote healthy growth and vibrant landscapes. Conduct tree trimming and shrub pruning while adhering to safety protocols to prevent hazards. Manage irrigation systems for optimal watering schedules and troubleshoot issues related to irrigation setup or malfunction. Apply horticultural knowledge to identify pests or diseases; assist with pesticide management following safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, ensuring tools are stored properly, and adhering to safety standards during outdoor work activities. Qualifications Prior experience in outdoor work or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor environments is essential. Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools is highly desirable. Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, gardening, lawn care, and plant care. Ability to identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests relevant to horticulture. Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is a plus. Familiarity with pesticide management procedures and safety protocols for chemical application. Excellent physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Commitment to safety protocol adherence and proper operation of grounds equipment.
