This position focuses on landscape installation, property enhancements, drainage, hardscaping, planting, and general landscape maintenance. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is eager to learn and grow within the landscaping industry. Responsibilities Install and maintain landscape beds, trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plant materials. Assist with hardscape projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, and outdoor living spaces. Perform landscape bed preparation, mulching, edging, weeding, pruning, and seasonal cleanups. Install drainage systems, downspout extensions, seepage pits, and erosion control measures. Operate landscaping equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, compact loaders, plate compactors, chainsaws, and other power tools safely and efficiently. Load, unload, and transport materials such as soil, stone, mulch, pavers, and plants. Assist with tree and shrub removal, trimming, and planting projects. Read and follow project plans, layouts, and crew leader instructions. Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times. Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, fueling, and minor maintenance. Assist with snow removal and ice management operations during winter months. Qualifications Previous landscaping, construction, hardscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required. Experience operating skid steers, excavators, compact equipment, or power tools is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting 50+ pounds, digging, carrying materials, and working on uneven terrain. Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic understanding of landscape installation, drainage, planting, or construction techniques is preferred. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail and quality workmanship. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
