Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes by performing lawn care, landscape maintenance, and various horticultural tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor spaces that enhance the environment and meet client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your landscaping skills, and contribute to the beautification of community spaces. Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently and safely. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and well-kept. Use hand tools and equipment like shovels, rakes, and hoes for planting, soil preparation, and landscape installation projects. Assist with tree care including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate tools and techniques. Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating power tools and landscaping equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery. Knowledge of lawn care practices, including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control. Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques such as hardscape installation and horticulture principles. Experience in gardening, tree care (trimming or removal), and general landscape upkeep. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Strong attention to detail with excellent physical stamina for manual tasks involving lifting or prolonged standing. Prior experience with snow plowing or winter landscape services is a plus.
