Overview Join our grounds maintenance team as a Lawn Mower Operator, where your expertise in landscape upkeep and outdoor equipment operation will help create and maintain beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about outdoor work, landscaping, and grounds care. You will be responsible for operating mowers and related equipment to ensure pristine lawns and landscapes while adhering to safety standards and environmental best practices. Your work will directly contribute to the aesthetic appeal and safety of our outdoor environments, making a positive impact on communities and clients alike. Responsibilities Operate lawn mowers, including push, riding, and zero-turn models, to achieve precise and even turf cuts across various landscapes Maintain and service landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, edgers, power tools, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, tree care, hardscape installation, and snow plowing during seasonal changes Identify different plant species and assess their health; apply appropriate horticultural techniques for plant care and pest management Assist with general maintenance and repair of mowing equipment and golf carts. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is highly preferred Demonstrated mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, hand tools, and groundskeeping machinery Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and hardscape work Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Pay:
From $12.00 per hour
