$25-$27 per hour, based on experience Patkin Landscaping is hiring an experienced Lawn Care Crew Leader to lead one of our mowing crews serving residential properties throughout the Main Line and surrounding areas. This is a full-time seasonal position, with our regular landscaping season running approximately March 1 through December 31. This is a hands-on leadership position. You will work alongside your crew while being responsible for the quality, efficiency, and completion of the day's mowing route. Why Work With Us? $25-$27/hour based on experience Weekly pay — on time, every time Health and dental insurance after 6 months — 100% employer-paid Full-time seasonal employment from approximately March 1 through December 31 Winter snow work may be available depending on weather and business needs, but winter hours are not guaranteed Well-maintained professional equipment Opportunity to return season after season and grow with the company What You'll Be Responsible For Lead a lawn mowing crew and work alongside crew members throughout the day Complete assigned mowing routes efficiently while maintaining Patkin's quality standards Operate commercial zero-turn and walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and blowers Properly stripe lawns and produce a clean, professional finished appearance Train, direct, and maintain the productivity of crew members Review job notes and property-specific instructions before beginning work Perform quality-control checks before leaving each property Safely drive company trucks and tow landscape trailers Properly load, secure, operate, and care for company equipment Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management Report property issues, equipment problems, and other concerns to management Maintain dependable and punctual attendance, with a 6:45 AM start Monday through Friday What We're Looking For Professional lawn mowing and landscape maintenance experience Previous experience leading or supervising a lawn or landscape crew strongly preferred Strong experience operating commercial mowing equipment Ability to maintain a productive pace without sacrificing quality Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Professional and respectful communication Valid driver's license Ability to safely drive a truck and landscape trailer DOT medical card is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work We are looking for someone who leads by example. A Crew Leader at Patkin works alongside the crew, sets the pace, maintains quality, and makes sure the route is completed correctly and efficiently. Full-time seasonal schedule, Monday through Friday with a 6:45 AM start.
