Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and pest management. Maintain irrigation systems to promote optimal watering schedules and conserve water resources. Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and diseases. Conduct groundskeeping duties including debris removal, soil preparation, and mulch application. Follow safety procedures consistently while handling equipment and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment operation. Strong understanding of horticulture principles, plant identification, and lawn care techniques. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and blowers effectively. Knowledge of pesticide management practices adhering to safety standards. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocol adherence during all tasks. Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and performing manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
