Allegheny Country Club has an excellent opportunity available for a Golf Course Crew Member . In this role you will (but not limited to): The primary job function is to perform routine manual labor involved in maintaining the golf course. Perform semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work Operate mowers and string trimmers in cutting greens, aprons, collars, tees, hillsides, ditches, and around trees, fence lines, and banks Edge and assist with the maintenance of cart paths Edge, rake, and maintain sand bunkers Maintain fuel and fluid levels in equipment used on a daily basis Reports equipment problems/failure to the Equipment Manager immediately Assists with construction projects on and off of the golf course May be trained to operate mowers, dump trucks and other light equipment Clean maintenance area
Requirements:
A valid driver's license Dependable and reliable: able to get to work on time, do assigned tasks and follow instructions Able to get along with co-workers and work as a team, as well as independently Ability to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperatures This is a physical job in which 75% or more of the day is spent outdoors.
