Full Job Description Crew Leader Location:

$28+ based on exp.

The Big Picture We are seeking a dedicated and organized Landscape Crew Leader to lead one of our field teams in executing residential and commercial maintenance & projects. You will serve as the primary link between the account manager and your team members, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities Crew Supervision :

Direct a team of 2-3 members, assigning daily tasks and monitoring progress to keep jobs on schedule.

Project Execution :

Interpret landscape designs, complete work orders and oversee site preparation, planting, and seasonal maintenance.

Safety & Compliance :

Enforce OSHA safety guidelines and ensure all staff use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Equipment Management :

Safely operate and perform daily maintenance on machinery such as skid steers, mini-excavators, trenchers, and truck/trailer combos etc.

Client Relations :

Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, answering questions and ensuring their expectations are exceeded.

Administrative Duties :

Complete daily job logs, enter expenses, track material quantities, and submit crew timesheets accurately.

What we are looking for:

Experience :

3-5+ years of hands-on landscaping experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or foreman role.

Technical Knowledge :

Deep understanding of horticulture plant identification, proper pruning techniques, irrigation systems, drainage and grading experience.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to work 8-10 hours daily outdoors in various weather conditions and lift 50-80 lbs repeatedly.

Licensing :

Valid driver's license with a clean record is required; DOT certification or a pesticide applicator license is a plus.

Soft Skills :

Strong problem-solving abilities and clear verbal communication skills. Hablando espanol is a plus.

Pay:

From $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
