Job Description

Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Category Facilities Description Position Summary:
Provide landscape maintenance service to maintain and beautify Unity Village grounds. Responsible for operation and maintenance of landscape and farm machinery.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Operate mowing equipment and do daily adjustments and maintenance. Push and tractor mowers. Operate power hand tools. Operate tractors, brush hog mowers, plows, discs, planters, chain saws. 2. Perform routine daily tasks including mowing, weed eating, planting and apply fertilizers or chemicals. 3. Regular and reliable attendance at the worksite and adhere to assigned schedule. - this position is not a remote or telecommute position. 4. Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures per the guidebook including all safety requirements including all safety guidelines. 5. Utilize electronic time management system to input time, attendance and paid off request.
Non-Essential Job Functions:
1. Snow removal, as needed. 2. Work on call for after-hours duties (weekends and holidays) as required.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma Experience:
1. 18 years of age. 2. 6 months of landscape machinery equipment and farm machinery experience. 3. Good Customer service skills to assist campus patrons with directions or other requests.
Computer Skills:
Certificates & Licenses:
+ Missouri Chauffeurs license or willing to obtain once employed. + Bucket truck certification or willing to obtain once employed.
