Overview Join our dynamic landscape maintenance team as a Mower Operator, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Operate mowers and power tools to cut grass and maintain turf areas efficiently and safely. Use hand tools and landscaping equipment to perform detailed trimming, edging, and pruning of trees and shrubs. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as aeration, overseeding, fertilization, and irrigation system adjustments. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways. Perform routine maintenance on equipment including cleaning, fueling, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Support tree care activities like trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety. Collaborate with team members on hardscape projects such as installing or repairing pathways, patios, or retaining walls. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating lawn care machinery and power tools. Strong background in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening practices. Familiarity with landscaping techniques including tree trimming, irrigation systems, and horticulture principles. Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus. Knowledge of snow plowing procedures and safety protocols during winter operations. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment in outdoor environments. Excellent physical stamina for prolonged outdoor activity and manual labor tasks.
