On-Site Landscape Gardener

Job Overview Skilled Landscape Gardener. Must live on-site. 8 to 15 hours/week (seasonal variation) landscape management, in exchange for a beautiful, spacious two room studio (fireplace, skylights, beamed ceilings, pergo flooring, big kitchen, private patio, great views). This lovely rural 2+ acre property has a wide variety of ornamental plants and extensive irrigation system to maintain, plus some pasture grass to mow Feb-June. You would live with a small community (11 others). It's a wonderful, nurturing lifestyle. Responsibilities Requirements (read carefully!):

• experience caring for a variety of landscape plant species
• sharp eye for detecting plant stress, and ability to diagnose and correct
• Solid knowledge of drip irrigation, including pop ups.
• install and operate timers.
• shovel, lift, and carry as needed (mulching, planting, transplanting, etc)
• operate and maintain mowers and weed whackers.
• love of plants, and keen to always be learning more about them.
• Average 4 hours, 3 days/week, but must be spread apart.

Can work more days, fewer hours.

Pay:

$30.00
