Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the school's lawns, gardens, trees, and outdoor sports facilities. Perform routine landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering. Ensure walkways, playgrounds, and parking areas are clean, safe, and free of debris. Perform light maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and upkeep of outdoor structures. Collaborate with the facilities team to prepare the grounds for school events and activities. Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely, adhering to all safety guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor maintenance. Knowledge of basic landscaping techniques, including lawn care, gardening, and plant maintenance. Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to keeping outdoor spaces clean and well-maintained. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and working on your feet for extended periods. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
12 months Level 106 Pay Scale The terms of employment detailed in this job description are based on full time employment during the school year. Conditions of employment adjusted for part time employees or individuals who are hired for less than an entire school year.
