Job Description

Parks Maintenance Tech - Grounds (Full-Time) St. Andrew's Parish Parks & Playground Commission is seeking a dependable and hardworking Parks & Grounds Maintenance Technician to help maintain our parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, landscaping, and outdoor facilities. This hands-on position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in a job well done, and wants to help create safe, attractive, and welcoming spaces for the community.
Schedule:
Generally Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with occasional overtime opportunities for special events and tournaments.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience What You'll Do Maintain parks, athletic fields, and outdoor facilities Prepare and line athletic fields for games Mow, trim, prune, and care for landscaping Inspect and maintain playground equipment for safety Operate grounds maintenance equipment and tools Respond to weather-related cleanup and maintenance needs Help provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our community Qualifications At least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or ability to obtain and maintain) Grounds maintenance experience preferred Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all seasons If you're ready to make a positive impact on the parks and recreational spaces that serve our community, apply today and become part of the St. Andrew's Parks team!
