This energetic position involves performing landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure a respectful and welcoming environment for visitors and families. You will be responsible for caring for the grounds with precision, using various tools and techniques to uphold the highest standards of appearance and safety. Responsibilities Maintain cemetery grounds through mowing, trimming, edging, and planting to ensure a pristine appearance. Operate power tools, hand tools, golf carts, and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with grave site preparations, including soil work and installing markers or monuments as needed. Conduct regular inspections of grounds for safety hazards or maintenance needs; cleaning up debris and report issues promptly. Set up and assist with funeral services Perform general maintenance tasks on cemetery facilities and equipment to ensure operational readiness. Additional duties as assigned Must be detail oriented and strive for excellent customer service and satisfaction. Rotating weekends required if services are scheduled

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
