Groundskeeper/Porter

Apartment Groundskeeper / Porter Overview We're looking for a dependable Groundskeeper/Porter to help keep our community clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role supports the maintenance team with daily upkeep, light repairs, and unit turns while helping create a great environment for our residents. What You'll Do Maintain the overall cleanliness of the community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas Pick up trash, debris, and pet waste daily to keep the property looking its best Assist with make-ready tasks for vacant units (cleaning, painting, minor repairs) Complete minor maintenance tasks and service requests when assigned Support preventative maintenance efforts across the property Help maintain pool areas, including skimming, basic chemical checks, and general upkeep Replace light bulbs, air filters, and perform other basic maintenance tasks Assist with light plumbing and electrical work under supervision Monitor the community for safety hazards and report issues promptly Keep maintenance shops, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized Distribute notices to residents as needed Support the team with general daily tasks and special projects What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks (helpful but not required) Attention to detail and commitment to safety Professional appearance and attitude Why Choose UDC?
