A Landscaping or Groundskeeping Worker provides landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Provides care for plants and trees including mowing, trimming and planting, and repairs driveways, walks, benches or other structures.
The schedule for this position is 7:00am-3:30pm with weekends scheduled.

The Grounds Custodian is essential to the resort's presentation and overall guest experience. As a highly visible member of the team, this position plays a direct role in shaping first impressions. The Grounds Custodian ensures exterior spaces reflect excellence, cleanliness, and safety. The Grounds Custodian requires a strong sense of ownership, meticulous attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset. The Grounds Custodian maintains beautifully presented grounds while delivering courteous and professional interactions with guests and colleagues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Uphold the exterior presentation to the highest standards, always ensuring all outdoor areas remain pristine, orderly, and guest-ready. Ensure truck keys are signed in/out at front desk. Conduct detailed property inspections each morning and midday to proactively identify and address cleanliness or maintenance concerns. Utilize company phone-based service software to receive, update, and complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Without being prompted, remove cobwebs, wash windows, clear leave and debris from patios porticos, awnings, sidewalks, entryways, parking areas, and landscaped spaces. Maintain patio and outdoor gathering areas by properly setting umbrellas and arranging and cleaning furniture multiple times daily to ensure a polished and inviting atmosphere. Monitor, empty, and sanitize trash receptacles in the maintenance shop and all guest-facing areas, including the breakfast room during service, pool areas, Convention Center, entrances, and surrounding grounds, maintaining a discreet and professional presence. Transport housekeeping trash to dumpster promptly and in accordance with hotel standards. Operate and maintain all ground equipment, including leaf blowers, utility vehicles, power sprayers, hoses, and hand tools; promptly report any equipment or safety concerns. Greeting guests warmly and professionally, providing directions, and responding to requests with urgency and genuine hospitality. Communicate guest feedback or property concerns to leadership promptly to ensure swift resolution. Maintain a flexible schedule based on operating demands of the resort, including required availability on weekends, holidays, and peak occupancy periods. Adhere strictly to hotel policies, brand standards, and safety protocols. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or General Manager.
