This role involves performing a variety of landscaping, maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure the property remains safe, attractive, and well-kept. The ideal candidate will have experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and the use of various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, contributing to the overall aesthetic and safety of our grounds. Responsibilities Mowing lawns and trimming grass using power tools and hand tools to maintain a neat appearance Landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, tree care, and tree trimming to promote healthy growth Operating equipment such as excavators, irrigation systems, and snow plows for seasonal maintenance Performing landscape maintenance including hardscape installation, gardening, and general horticulture practices Maintaining pathways, driveways, and other hardscape features to ensure safety and visual appeal Conducting snow plowing during winter months to keep walkways clear Using hand tools for planting, digging, and general groundskeeping activities Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning Assisting with construction or renovation projects related to landscaping or outdoor structures Experience Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping is preferred Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, excavators, and irrigation systems is highly desirable Familiarity with horticulture practices and tree care techniques is a plus Experience with snow plowing or winter grounds maintenance is beneficial Ability to operate landscaping machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is advantageous Knowledge of gardening, hardscape installation, and general landscape design will be considered an asset This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Candidates should be comfortable using a variety of tools and machinery essential for maintaining high standards of groundskeeping.
