JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY OF DUTIES
A Facility Grounds Maintenance team member is responsible for interior and exterior cleanliness of the entire warehousing facility. Job duties may change at any time to assist others. It is every employee's responsibility to help in the entire operations of the facility.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Check, collect, and properly dispose of all cardboard, plastic containers, and general waste from designated bins throughout the facility on a daily basis. Operate compacting equipment for efficient material processing. Operate industrial scrubber as scheduled and as needed to maintain cleanliness of warehouse floors Ensure regular maintenance of all warehouse drains and floors utilizing brooms, mops, dustmops, etc. Proactively monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the facility's parking lot and loading dock areas throughout the day, ensuring they remain clear of debris, trash, and hazards. When required for task completion, operate forklifts safely and responsibly. This includes ensuring proper certification, conducting thorough pre-operation and post-operation checklists, and adhering strictly to all safety protocols. Provide essential assistance to other departments, including Water Production, Housekeeping, and the Maintenance team with repairs, as needs arise. Flexibility and a willingness to support overall facility operations are key. Complete all assigned duties in a timely and efficient manner, utilize appropriate cleaning logs and check sheets upon the completion of each task to obtain and contribute to company goals for operational excellence and facility cleanliness. All team members are expected to report directly to the Facility Maintenance Manager at the end of each shift. Any concerns pertaining to safety, job duties, or facility maintenance must be immediately brought to the attention of the Facility Maintenance Manager. In their absence, concerns should be escalated to the Assistant Maintenance Manager without delay. As an Oneta Team Member, you are also fundamentally responsible for:

QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or GED Pass the required drug test and physical capabilities test (if applicable) Pass the required background checks Valid driver's license
Experience:
Experience in grounds keeping or a related field is often preferred.
Technical skills:
The ability to operate a forklift and maintain grounds keeping equipment and tools.
Communication:
The ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
Other skills:
Basic trade experience as in electrical, hvac, plumbing, etc. would be a plus.
