Responsibilities Assist in landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate ground maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support proper care and landscape design Perform soil preparation, planting, fertilizing, pest management, and watering to promote healthy growth Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing landscapes when required Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with knowledge of landscape maintenance or groundskeeping preferred Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and grounds maintenance machinery such as excavators or tree trimmers Mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems, pesticide management, or horticulture is highly desirable Ability to identify plants and trees accurately; knowledge of plant health care is a plus Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is beneficial Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence during all tasks involving equipment operation or outdoor work Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods Valid experience with grounds maintenance equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, or similar machinery This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in landscaping while contributing to the beautification of outdoor environments.
