General landscape labor using landscape equipment for landscape installation and maintenance. Loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Lifting required up to 50 pounds. Work performed on local area jobsites with employer provided transportation to and from the jobsites from a centralized pickup location in the specified area of employment. 3 months of experience required. On the job training. No education required.

employer paid pre-hire drug test. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs to maintain aesthetic appeal and health. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and effectively. Assist in installing hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Conduct lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, seeding, and weed control to promote healthy turf growth. Support tree care operations such as trimming, pruning, planting, and removal while adhering to safety standards. Maintain landscaping equipment through routine cleaning, inspection, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Follow project plans and specifications to ensure timely completion of landscape projects while maintaining safety protocols. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping machinery and tools confidently. Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Proficiency with hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (trimmers, blowers). Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance. Ability to perform snow plowing operations during winter months when required. Familiarity with construction processes related to hardscape installation and site preparation. Excellent understanding of tree care techniques including trimming and tree health assessment.
