Job Description
Maintain the grounds and outdoor spaces at Wimberley Valley Winery, including mowing, landscaping, flower bed maintenance, and daily care of our chickens, ducks, geese, and miniature horses. Assist with general property maintenance projects and help keep the winery looking its best. Duties Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas. Weed, mulch, water, and plant seasonal flowers. Feed and care for chickens, ducks, geese, and miniature horses. Clean animal enclosures and monitor animal health. Assist with greenhouse and vegetable garden projects as needed. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment. Perform general property upkeep and outdoor maintenance. Assist with small construction or improvement projects as needed. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Preferred Experience Lawn care or groundskeeping. Landscaping or gardening. Animal care (poultry or livestock preferred). Experience with small engine repair (mowers, trimmers, etc.) is a plus. Basic carpentry, fencing, plumbing, or construction experience is a plus. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
