Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Landscaper to join our vibrant team dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing landscapes through hands-on work, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment. Your enthusiasm for gardening, landscape design, and outdoor maintenance will help create inviting spaces that inspire and delight clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction while contributing to the beautification of our community. Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy, lush lawns. Maintain landscapes by pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and performing tree care activities such as planting and removal. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for landscaping projects and site preparation. Install and repair irrigation systems to promote optimal water management across various landscape settings. Execute hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other stone or concrete features. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mulching, planting flowers or shrubs, and seasonal snow plowing when necessary. Support construction projects related to landscaping by assisting with site preparation, excavation, and material handling. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating various landscaping equipment and hand tools. Strong background in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, and horticulture principles. Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and tree trimming. Experience with irrigation systems, snow plowing, and general outdoor maintenance tasks. Ability to work safely with power tools and heavy machinery such as excavators while adhering to safety protocols. Knowledge of plant care practices, landscape design fundamentals, and construction procedures is preferred. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor efficiently. Join us to bring outdoor visions to life!
