JOB SUMMARY
This position is for a regular full - time Landscaper/Arborist who is responsible for assisting with care and maintenance of plants, shrubs, and trees on property grounds.
POSITION AUTHORITY
The incumbent is authorized to take reasonable action necessary to carry out assigned duties and responsibilities, provided such action is consistent with position guidelines.
POSITION GUIDELINES
Position guidelines include, but not limited to, established company and department policies. Procedures and all supervisory directives. The incumbent is expected to exercise sound judgement and initiative and give high priority to accuracy and detail in the performance of job duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assists the Grounds Manager with care and maintenance of all plants, shrubs, flowers, and trees. Duties include, but not limited to, planting, tree, care, and removal of dead or hazardous limbs. Daily observation of litter in parking lots and other public areas and their removal. Maintain property grounds clean and safe environment. Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Prior knowledge of landscape plants, trees, and their care is preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS
Must be reliable and responsible. Must be a team player with willingness to work hard and commitment to quality. Must be independent, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision Able to retain large amounts of information.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to tolerate multiple climate exposures throughout work environments including high heat, high humidity, and outdoor conditions.
