Duties include mowing, edging and working in flower beds; handling turf maintenance and athletic field preparation; cleaning restrooms and removing litter; performing general repairs and basic maintenance of park structures; and assisting with irrigation system maintenance and chemical application. Six months of related experience; the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance; and the possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid Class C Texas driver's license are required. A commercial driver's license (CDL) is beneficial. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., but schedule may also include some holiday and weekend hours. There is potential for some overtime.
