  • Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscaper and unleash your passion for creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces!
In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing landscapes through hands-on work with a variety of tools and techniques. Your expertise will help transform our 4 acre property, ensuring it is safe, attractive, and thriving. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, gardening, and construction while working outdoors in a lively environment. Responsibilities Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep lawns healthy and vibrant Use hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, trimming trees, and installing landscape features Maintain gardens by planting new flora, mulching beds, and managing irrigation systems for optimal growth Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as weed control, soil preparation, and pest management Operate heavy equipment like excavators, tractors, etc, for larger landscaping projects or hardscape installation Assist with pool care when necesary
  • scrubbing, chlorinating, turning on and off and large projects Janitorial duties including but not limited to trash around the park and parking lot Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment and power tools effectively Expertise in lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilization, and aeration Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, tree trimming, and irrigation system management Familiarity with gardening principles and horticulture to promote plant health and growth Ability to use hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks Experience with heavy machinery like excavators for large-scale projects or hardscape installation Good physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Basic construction skills for installing hardscape features or landscape structures The ideal candidate will be a self starter and be able to identify and fix issues around the park, such as weeding and trimming without the need for a supervisors direction.
This position will work under and with our maintenance manager on site.
