Job Overview Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Lawn Care Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for performing lawn care, landscape maintenance, and groundskeeping tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal and safety of outdoor environments. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, combined with your technical skills, will help us deliver exceptional landscaping services to our clients. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently and safely Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to promote healthy growth and visual appeal Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and pests to support plant health and pest management strategies Use hand tools and groundskeeping equipment to install hardscape features like pathways or retaining walls when required Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or winterizing landscapes when applicable Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or landscaping background preferred; a strong interest in horticulture is a plus Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools for safe operation and maintenance Familiarity with plant identification, pesticide management, and irrigation systems is desirable Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while operating groundskeeping machinery Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, tree care, gardening, and hardscape installation Strong physical stamina for extended periods of outdoor activity in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to grounds upkeep and landscaping projects Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
