Maintenance Worker - Janitor, Landscaper

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and versatile Maintenance Worker specializing in janitorial, landscaping, and groundskeeping tasks to keep our facilities clean, safe, and visually appealing. In this dynamic role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance activities, including cleaning, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and minor repairs. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct lawn care activities including trash pick-up, mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep outdoor spaces lush and healthy. Maintain landscape features by planting, pruning trees and shrubs, trimming hedges, and caring for flower beds to enhance curb appeal. Operate hand tools (such as shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (like leaf blowers, hedge trimmers) safely and efficiently for landscaping projects. Support general maintenance tasks including minor repairs on fixtures or structures and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools confidently. Experiance in lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed management. Experience in landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, tree care (trimming or removal), and gardening techniques. Familiarity with how to promote healthy plant growth and landscape aesthetics. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward facility upkeep and safety standards.
