EDUCATION
Full•time Student or High School Diploma 0-3 years of experience
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices Attention to detail and conscientiousness Very good physical condition and strength
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this capacity, the fleet and ground maintenance shall be directly responsible to the Director of Facilities, for the following specific duties: Maintain outer premises by watering plants and providing lawn care Keep all entrances, walks and parking areas clean and free of trash and lawn clippings Utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests Help maintain fleet vehicles Monitor assigned supply inventory levels and reorder as necessary Deliver and receive mail and other packages to and from postal carriers; ensure mail and packages are delivered to appropriate personnel Report major damages and oversee repairs Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors and setting up the alarm Undertake lifting heavy items, moving chairs, moving tables, etc. Ability to use a mower and trimmer. Perform other duties as assigned.

May work prolonged or irregular hours; infrequent statewide travel
