Irrigation Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas. Your expertise will help promote healthy growth and sustainable landscaping practices across various properties. Responsibilities Install new irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and excavation equipment such as an skidsteer/trencher when necessary Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of existing irrigation systems to prevent leaks and ensure proper operation Troubleshoot issues with irrigation components, including valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinklers, and perform repairs promptly Adjust watering schedules based on seasonal needs, weather conditions, and landscape requirements Assist with general landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, pruning, and landscape enhancements Operate construction and horticultural equipment responsibly while adhering to safety protocols Maintain detailed records of system installations, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or related equipment

MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

Familiarity with landscaping practices including lawn care and landscape maintenance Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction machinery such as skidsteer/trencher safely and effectively Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth through proper irrigation practices Experience working with land surveying or land development projects is a plus Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us if you're passionate about outdoor environments and eager to develop your skills in irrigation technology.
