Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Lawn Care Worker and bring outdoor spaces to life with your hands-on skills and passion for landscaping! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful lawns, gardens, and landscapes through a variety of tasks that enhance curb appeal and promote healthy growth. Your energetic approach will ensure each project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards, creating inviting outdoor environments for clients and communities alike. Whether trimming trees, mowing lawns, or operating power tools, your work will make a visible difference every day. Responsibilities Mow lawns using various equipment such as push mowers, riding mowers, and power tools to achieve a clean, manicured appearance. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, trimming trees, hedges, and shrubs to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Use hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, aerating, fertilizing, and installing garden features. Operate heavy machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment when required for hardscape installation or site preparation. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing components to ensure proper watering of landscapes. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible. Support overall landscape projects by performing gardening duties and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance. Experience Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is highly valued. Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is beneficial. Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including tree care, pruning, mowing, and hardscape installation enhances your effectiveness in this role. Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or snow plows demonstrates versatility in supporting various seasonal tasks. Strong understanding of gardening principles and horticulture practices helps ensure healthy plant growth and vibrant landscapes.
