Responsibilities Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to ensure lush, healthy grass and plant life. Use hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers to execute maintenance tasks efficiently. Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree care, and shrubbery trimming to promote healthy growth. Operate heavy machinery like excavators and other construction equipment for hardscape installation or landscape modifications. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible. Support garden projects by planting new greenery, installing hardscape features like patios or walkways, and performing routine upkeep. Experience Prior experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is not needed. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is essential for safe and effective operation. Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation enhances your ability to contribute to diverse projects. Knowledge of horticulture principles including tree care, gardening techniques, and plant health management is a plus. Experience with irrigation systems, snow plowing operations, or tree trimming will set you apart as a versatile team member. Strong understanding of landscaping best practices combined with physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions is required.
