Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper / Lawncare professional to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty and health of residential and commercial landscapes. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor environments by performing a variety of landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a range of tools and equipment, and contribute to the transformation of outdoor spaces into vibrant, well-kept landscapes. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and health; apply horticultural knowledge for optimal growth. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Conduct landscape construction projects including hardscape installation, planting beds, and other outdoor features with precision. Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and injuries. Assist with snow plowing or winter maintenance tasks during seasonal changes to keep properties accessible and safe. Requirements Proven outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred. Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, irrigation systems, and construction machinery such as excavators. Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, tree trimming, plant identification, pest management (pesticide application), and gardening techniques. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; familiarity with groundskeeping equipment operation is essential. Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor work environments and equipment handling. Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is a plus.
