Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and be a vital part of creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, applying your skills in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and construction. You will assist with a variety of tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal and health of landscapes, ensuring safety and quality at every step. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, and excavators safely and efficiently Support irrigation system installation, repair, and management to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to assist with planting plans and health assessments Perform hardscape construction tasks like installing pathways, patios, or retaining walls under supervision Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or tree care as needed to maintain year-round landscape excellence Requirements Previous outdoor work experience or background in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment operation Ability to identify plants and understand basic horticulture principles Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus Strong adherence to safety protocols during all activities to promote a safe working environment Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is advantageous Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary This role offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
