Job Description
Overview This is a temporary position on location in Montezuma Creek and Blanding. We are looking for local laborers to join our work force in August and lasting until the jobs are completed. Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Installations Laborer and play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from planting and hardscape installation to irrigation setup and landscape maintenance. All positions are paid, ensuring your dedication is recognized from day one. Duties Assist in installing various landscape elements including plants, trees, hardscapes, and irrigation systems with precision and care Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators safely and effectively Prepare sites for planting or construction by clearing debris, grading soil, and setting foundations for hardscape features Maintain equipment and tools in excellent condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs Follow safety protocols diligently during all installation and maintenance activities Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping, horticulture, or construction is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge or experience operating construction machinery such as excavators is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong attention to detail and physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks efficiently Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment including irrigation systems Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, and hardscape installation Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in landscaping and construction while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
